Nurse for Home Care Agency

Job Summary

Your primary responsibility is to train caregivers in proper usage of PPE's and caring for Covid-19 clients.

Essential Functions

1 Training:

Training and monitoring caregivers who would take care of COVID-19 patients in their homes.
Proper usage of PPE.
Compliance to CDC guidelines for taking care of COVID-19 patience

2 Introductions:

a. Introduce caregivers to clients as requested by the Scheduling Coordinator.

4. Assessments:

a. Perform initial assessments as needed.

5. Backup Caregiver work:

a. Acting as first line fill-in for any last-minute shifts we are unable to fill with current caregiver staff.

6. Mentoring Caregivers:

a. Act as an expert in client care and working with Caregivers as a mentor.

b. Implement field employee safety programs.

7. Supervisory visits

a. As required by IDPH

Requirements:

· A caring heart wanting to make an impact on people’s lives.

· Positive “can-do” attitude and self-starter.

· Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

· Forward-thinker (always strategically thinking ahead).

· Licensed Practical Nurse

· Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities. Excellent telephone and interpersonal relations abilities.

· Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.

· Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

· Constantly striving to go above and beyond to achieve the highest possible customer service.

· Be available for on-call duty outside of normal office hours (including caregiving).
